After seeing what felt like all of Nice in one day, Miranda, Kylee and I decided to do a couple side trips on the second day. In the Cote d'Azur area it's really easy to get around to the different towns by bus--which only costs 1 euro. In the morning we headed over to a small town more inland from the coast called St. Paul-de-Vence. It was incredibly beautiful even though the town is pretty exclusively geared towards tourists. Still amazing though.
After St. Paul-de-Vence, we came back to Nice to go to the Matisse Museum which we weren't able to get to the previous day before heading over to Monaco. We originally intended to go to the Oceanographic Museum, but by the time we got there the museum was about to close. We did some wandering around instead. The difference between Monaco and Nice was pretty noticeable. Where Nice is fairly small and quaint, Monaco was full of tall luxury hotels--trying to fit as much hotel space into a small place as possible.
