Ahoj z Praha! (Hello from Prague!)

So, as this is my first picture post of the semester, I figured I would start at the beginning--my dorm.  The building I live in is called Osadni, which is named after the street it is on.  The neighborhood in Prague where I live is called Holešovice (pronounced Hol-eh-sheh-vitzeh).  It's basically the equivalent of Alphabet City in New York.

It's an up and coming area, and architecturally, it's more "Behind the Iron Curtain" than the more central parts of Prague.  I have a whole lot more pictures to put up of much more exciting things, but I have Intensive Czech in the morning and must now go to bed!

My bedroom--that's my roommate's bed and desk on the far side of the room, and the desk to the far right is mine
